Week 6 - Personality Tests

Hey guys!

I took a few personality tests to determine who I really am and I guess I can say the results were pretty accurate and describes me pretty well.

The first test I took was the Jung Typology Test and my results were ESFP (extroverted (34%) sensing (19%) feeling (19%) perceiving (3%)). According to the description, ESFPs love people, excitement, telling stories, and having fun. They love to entertain and love social gatherings. ESFPs are attracted to new ideas, fashions, gadgets, etc. and they love to talk to people about other people. I can agree with most of these aspects of my personality type except the fact that I love people; I don't LOVE people, but I like socializing with a lot of people. Overall though, the results are pretty accurate.

The second test I took was the Sims Personality Test. My results were 60% neat, meaning I enjoy cleaning the house; 80% outgoing, meaning I am likely to jump headfirst into any situation; 40% active, which means I like being a couch potato but like to socialize; 50% playful, meaning I am more likely to find entertainment and fun in the world around me and I tend to be more curious; 40% nice, meaning I like to tell jokes and tease others. I am not very surprised with the results; most of these characteristics describe me such as being clean, being curious, socializing, and telling jokes.

The third test I took was the Dark Side of Personality Test. My results were 67% narcissist meaning I am self-confident and I think highly of myself; 64% Machiavellian, meaning I tend to be concerned with my social image, I am organized and strategic and know how to work well with others; and lastly, 44% psychopathic, meaning I tend to think carefully about my actions, be empathetic and think how my actions will influence others. These results were honestly pretty valid in my opinion; they mostly describe me like I think before I do something, I am organized, and I tend to be concerned with my social image.

The fourth test I took was the Attraction Test. My results were somewhat valid with my attractiveness preferences of males. These results were: I am not attracted to males who look rebellious, mischievous, or non-traditional nor who look intelligent or soft-hearted. I am more attracted to males who look happy, fun-loving, and upbeat, who are sexually expressive, and who are well-dressed, well-groomed, and fashionable. These characteristics are actually on point of my preferences on the attractiveness of males.

The last test that I took was the Shopaholic Test to see how much of a shopaholic I truly am and once again, the results were pretty accurate. According to my answers, I am a "fashion slave" (65% shopaholic), meaning that keeping up-to-date with the latest fashion style is important but not a top priority; I don't stress over the latest threads, gadgets, home décor to the extreme. I love to shop for shoes and clothes but only to an extent to where I still have a good amount of money left to keep myself stable.
